2020 has been quite the year so far.
Back in January, as our hearts and minds burst with the expectation of a new decade; we could hardly have pictured the temporary closure of our Greenwich and Dulwich stores. Not least, due to a global pandemic. It’s all very surreal. But the fact of the matter is, this climate has disrupted millions of lives across the world and if we’re going to get through it, we need each other more than ever.
We are still working away (safely, from home) and still fighting the good fight; still bringing the South-East the best quality fashion and homeware this side of the water. Our plea to you at this time is to keep supporting us and keep supporting local. Help us keep doing what we do and keep an eye on our online store. We rely on your custom during this unsettling period to support our livelihood and remain members of the community.
Over the next few months, you’ll see us asking you to Support Local, Support Meet Bernard. The online store is now the centre of our world and you’ll find all our latest and greatest pieces over on our digital rails. Even before this madness, we’ve been blowing the trumpet of local business but now we and other local families running stores need your help more than ever. When this all ends, which it eventually will, the small guys, the ones with the heart and soul invested in what they do, won’t be around unless you support them now.
In the spirit of adapting with the times, we’ve pulled together our favourite pieces that will help you stay stylish and stay inspired when working from home. For a lot of our customers, working from home has already become a normality - but it's not without challenges. It’s so important to ensure you don your favourite items every day to keep self-motivation high and to keep family, friends and colleagues impressed on video calling with your latest look.
Here’s some of our favourite working from home picks, for him:
For the ladies, we’ll be following up in the next couple of days with some picks for her. In the meantime, stay cheery, stay at home and keep supporting local business.
Much love,
Meet Bernard Family.
